We are looking for a friendly, confident, and hospitality-driven Part-Time Event Server to join our Catering team in Calgary.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a warm guest experience, communicating with customers, and being part of a modern Japanese dining concept.

Pay
$25–$35/hour, depending on experience and event responsibilities.

Schedule

Part-time
Must be able to work weekends
Evening and private event availability preferred
Ideal experience

* 2+ years of serving experience in catering, restaurant, lounge, events, or hospitality
Experience with alcohol service preferred
* Comfortable in a guest-facing, high-touch service environment
* Experience with Japanese dining, omakase, or upscale casual service is an asset

Requirements

* Valid ProServe certification
* Basic knowledge of liquor, sake, wine, beer, and cocktails
* Strong communication skills and a talkative, welcoming personality
* Able to interact confidently with guests and explain food or beverage items in a simple, friendly way
* Comfortable taking a few photos or short videos during events for social media content
* Reliable, well-groomed, and professional
* Able to work weekends, evenings, and private events as needed

Responsibilities

* Set up and prepare event service area
* Serve food and beverages professionally during catering events
* Welcome guests and provide warm, attentive hospitality
* Communicate clearly with customers and answer basic menu or beverage questions
* Support sake, wine, beer, and liquor service in a professional manner
* Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and smooth event flow
* Take simple behind-the-scenes photos or short videos when needed
* Assist with light packing, setup, and cleanup
