Medical Device Reprocessing Technician – Casual

KDH is seeking a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, on a casual basis. The successful candidate will share the KDH commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care and possess the following qualifications and related experience.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate from an accredited college (preferred);
  • Proof of CSA recertification every five years:
  • Current CSAO/MDRAO membership (preferred);
  • Recent experience in medical device reprocessing within a hospital setting (within 2 years, 2+ year’s experience preferred);
  • Working knowledge of autoclave, suction equipment, flash sterilizer, quality assurance equipment, and endoscopy instrumentation and reprocessor;
  • Strong attention to detail is critical for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of sterilization processes;
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for collaborating with other healthcare professionals and documenting procedures accurately;
