We’re a small, locally owned restaurant looking for a skilled and dependable Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen operations and create great food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience + staff meals + tips

About the Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality, support kitchen staff, and ensure a smooth service every shift.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily food preparation and line execution
Support menu planning and specials
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering
Help manage prep schedules and kitchen organization
Step into leadership during busy services

Requirements
Previous experience in a professional kitchen
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy services
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Culinary training is an asset but not required
